The Only Good Politics Are Boring Politics

The Only Good Politics Are Boring Politics | Foundation for Economic Education

“Those who say we should look to our leaders to inspire us, or that politics should be the engine of ‘progress,’ are unwittingly calling for the destruction of civil society.” So says J. Andrew Zalucky in a piece written before the election outcome. It seems quite evident that the more we look to government and politicians to solve our problems, the more divided we become.

Also, the more power we cede to the Presidency and the courts, the more our divisions become amplified. The Presidency is merely the administrator who carries out the decisions made by the legislators. We must put the Presidency back in its Constitutional cage where it belongs. Whom we hire to execute the will of legislators should not matter this much.
